VA Work Study Program
This program is available to any student receiving VA education benefits by attending school three-quarters of a time or more. An individual working under this program may work at the school veterans’ office, VA regional office, VA medical facilities, or at approved state employment offices. Work-study students are paid at either the state or federal minimum wage, whichever is greater. Veteran's Readiness & Employment (CH31)
Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment (VR&E) is the VA program that assists veterans with service connected disabilities to obtain employment or enhance their ability to function independently at home and in the community. Vocational and educational guidance is available to assist service-members, veterans, and certain dependents of veterans in their career goals. Dependents Education Assistance
The VA provides educational and training benefits to eligible dependents of veterans who are permanently and totally disabled due to a service-related condition or who died while on active duty or due to a service-related condition. The program offers up to 45 months of educational benefits. These benefits may be used for degree and certificate programs and registered apprenticeships. If you are a spouse, you may take a correspondence course. remedial, deficiency, and refresher courses may be approved under certain circumstances. Troops to Teachers
TTT supports Service members and veterans as they prepare for and transition to employment as K-12 teachers. While DoD is reviewing requirements for the program and determining funding levels, program support is available in select states with a Troops to Teachers program.
